Professional Experience & Expertise

I trained and worked as a contractor’s quantity surveyor from 1972-1979, changing to contracts management between 1979-1983. In 1983 I progressed to management in the design and build sector through to 1992 when I went into private practice. I have also been a key manager in the development and expansion of a young company within the supply sector of the industry. I have a range of experience in construction and project management.

I have been appointed and worked as an expert witness giving evidence in a range of cases over the past 15 years. Coming originally from a construction background I am able to offer succinct expert evidence on many matters given the experience I have over a broad range of topics and issues. My recent cases include contract issues between main contractors and sub- contractors, quality and costs of works both completed and not completed, boundary disputes and more.

I have a broad Technical and Management background in the Industry; I am a composed chartered professional who works on a right first time principal.
